Yesterday we posted about a great deed by a truly great attorney. The article that we cited was an attorney that decided to offer legacy planning to law enforcement officers. Not to be outdone, Alabama is doing the same thing. The Alabama state bar association is holding a clinic for the Gadsden first responders to get legacy planning services. Good job Alabama. Good job.
The Alabama State Bar on Thursday will hold a Wills for Heroes Clinic for the Gadsden Police Department, Gadsden Fire Department and Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the United Way of Etowah County’s Day of Action.
The Wills for Heroes project is managed by the Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program, and offers first responders free, basic estate planning services with experienced attorneys and legal professionals.
The clinic will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gadsden Fire Training Facility, 5121 Airport Road.
