Irrevocable Trust

by EP Attorney | May 5, 2021

An Irrevocable Trust is type of trust that cannot be revoked, modified, amended, or terminated by the grantor. However, it may be possible to insert changes into irrevocable trusts in a court of law by the process called decanting. This allows any existing irrevocable trust assets to be transferred to a new trust with different terms and conditions.
